First Aid at Work - intermediate
Requalification course - (2 days)

  • Who is this course for?

    This qualification is aimed at learners who wish to re-qualify their first-aider qualification. This qualification meets the requirements for training first-aiders in those organisations that have identified that staff need to be trained to this level within their first-aid needs assessment.

    Please note in order to be legible for this 2 day course the original qualification must not have surpassed 3 years + 28 days. If it has then the participant must retake the full 3 day course again.

  • course content

    The qualification covers knowledge such as the roles and responsibilities of the first aider, how to assess an incident and recognising signs and symptoms of injury and illness. The qualification also covers first aid skills in CPR and use of an AED and assisting a casualty who is suffering from major injury and illness such as chest injuries, spinal injuries and anaphylaxis, plus much more.

  • assessment process

    This qualification is assessed by 3 practical demonstrations and a multiple-choice theory test.

    Failure to pass either elements of the assessment process the student will be offered a free resit on another course within 2 months.

  • onsite training & group bookings

    Open courses are delivered at our training venue at:

    Suite 1, Block 4, Watergardens, Waterport Road, Gibraltar, GX11 1AA Gibraltar.

    However onsite training can be provided at an additional fee (please note there is a minimum fee per course for onsite or closed courses).
